Jupiter Medical Center Foundation has been honored with the prestigious
“High Performer” designation for fundraising revenue and productivity by the
Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP). The Foundation received the honor in three categories – “Overall
Revenue,” “Overall Productivity” and “Community
Hospital.” The esteemed recognitions reflect
Jupiter Medical Center’s unwavering commitment to excellence in health care and its dedication
to transforming the community's well-being through philanthropic support.
The Association for Healthcare Philanthropy is a leading authority in recognizing
outstanding achievements in health care philanthropy. The "High Performer"
designation is a testament to the exceptional efforts of the Jupiter Medical
Center Foundation team and the generous support of the local community.
"We are incredibly proud and appreciative to receive the High Performer
designation from the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy," said
Amit Rastogi, MD, MHCM, President and CEO of Jupiter Medical Center. "As
the area’s only independent, not-for-profit hospital, this designation
is an important reassurance to our community that Jupiter Medical Center’s
Foundation continues to be fiscally responsible and keenly aware of their
needs. This recognition also reflects the incredible generosity and dedication
of our community to the health and well-being of our region.”
Thanks to the community's unwavering support, Jupiter Medical Center
is currently undergoing the most transformative period in its history.
Earlier this year, Jupiter Medical Center revealed a $4 million expansion
and renovation to its Petrocelli Emergency Center, and later this month,
it will officially open the Johnny and Terry Gray Surgical Institute,
a highly anticipated $100 million state-of-the-art project. Additional
expansion plans are underway for a new Patient Care Tower at the hospital’s
main campus.
“This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication
of both our hospital staff and Foundation team,” said Traci Simonsen,
Chief Philanthropy Officer of the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation. “The
impact of our collective efforts is reflected in these awards, and together,
we will continue to transform health care one patient, one innovation
and one act of philanthropy at a time.”
Key achievements that contributed to our "High Performer" designation include:
- Jupiter Medical Center has fostered strong relationships with the community,
leading to total philanthropic support among the top 25 percent of 155
hospital foundations nationwide who participated in the AHP Report on
Giving survey in fiscal year 2022.
- The Foundation has also demonstrated exceptional fiscal responsibility
and efficiency, achieving productivity scores among the top 25 percent
of hospital foundations nationwide, ensuring that philanthropic contributions
are maximized for the greatest impact on patient care.
